DAX IN KENYA

Our Kenya projects advocate-Dax arrived on Sunday and will be in Kenya for the next two weeks visiting different projects. It is great to have him once again. Today we spent great time with the Tenderfeet children and the teachers in Kibera. We also did some home visitation to three families. His main goal is to understand and learn and have a clear picture of how people live and cope with their daily lives in the Kibera slums. We will keep on updating on his travels.

Tenderfeet School Commence

Most schools in Kenya started there education year this week and Tenderfeet is one that started today. As the year has begun, The Tenderfeet Staff and the Children wish all a happy new year 2009. Margaret is out for education conference in Kajiado- Not far away from Nairobi that will take two days. The knowledge that she gets there will also be shared with the teachers of Tenderfeet to improve their knowledge in teaching and taking care of the children.

It looks like Boaz is doing well after the surgery he underwent last year. Many thanks to all that contributed to the success of the surgery.
