Heading out from rainy Portland
Our first team of 5 are heading out from the Portland airport this morning. It's rainy and cold, and most of us didn't sleep last night. Hopefully we'll get some sleep on the plane. We'll be flying through Amsterdam, and then we'll arrive in Entebbe Uganda late tomorrow evening. I'm off to the gate.

It's like we're there without really being there. Now, how cool is that?!
I'm so bummed that I left my phone at home and didn't get a chance to call you and say bye! (and to see if you took those lovely pictures of my family and that CD for Emma), but regardless I'm excited to follow along on this side of the world eventhough I'd rather be there!!! Have fun, and remember to mmmehh....
