Resurrection in the Office Space
Well, we just experienced Easter as a Christian community, and we were focused on the new life that Jesus Christ experienced three days after he died, as well as his offer of new life for us humans.
This past week, Vibrant Covenant and First Covenant Churches of Portland joined together to let Lahash use some office space rent free! It will be a really nice move over the next couple of years. But - this spot needs some new life of its own before things are ready for to be the operations hub of Lahash. You can see the future space below:
So, we need some volunteers to help out with fixing this place up! It would be great to get some donated sheetrock, file cabinets, lamps, some type of flooring, paint, electrical help, and general office supplies (pens, folders, staplers, bookshelves and so on).
We also really need a new computer ($1200) for additional office staff, and $500 for software.
Thanks to all of you who've been praying for us during our office search. This spot is ideal as it is central to most of our contacts in Portland up to this point, and isn't far from where I'll be living this next year.
